The deputy mayor of the city of Pointe-Noire officially launched the 100% electric buses of Bluecongo, a company of the Bolloré group. A ceremony held in the square of the town hall, on the sidelines of the 6th Session of Jean municipal council in the presence of Luc Delvert (Consul General of France) and Pierre Bellerose (Country Managing Director Bolloré and Transport & Logistics President Bluecongo) to accompany the special character of these vehicles that use environmentally friendly technology does not emit carbon dioxide, through the LMP battery developed by the Bolloré Group.
For a first launch, Bluecongo has put 4 100% electric buses in circulation, for public transport in Pointe-Noire. With a capacity of 23 seats each, they serve two lines, from 6:30 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday, the approved price of 150 CFA francs instead.
